Porter, in full: "I duly received your letter of April 14th, but there was some delay in the arrival of the photograph you sent me. Immediately upon its receipt I autographed it and returned it to you and hope it reached you already. I greatly appreciate your kind sentiments toward myself, and remain." In fine condition, with light show-through from (erasable) pencil notations on the reverse.
