Vintage glossy 6.75 x 9 wire photo of Hideki Yukawa shaking hands with Columbia University President Dwight D. Eisenhower on November 3, 1949, signed vertically in blue fountain pen. Lower right features an autopen signature of Eisenhower, and reverse bears an Associated Press credit stamp. In very good condition, with overall creasing. In 1949, Yukawa became a professor at Columbia University, the same year he received the Nobel Prize in Physics.
