Vintage matte-finish 12.25 x 19.25 photo of King George wearing his military attire in a distinguished three-quarter-length pose, signed on a card affixed to the lower border in fountain pen, "George R. I., India 1911-12." In very good condition, with light foxing to the lower border, some light scratches to the background, and complete horizontal separation reinforced with tape on the reverse. On December 12, 1911, King George and Queen Mary traveled to India for the Delhi Durbar, where they were presented to an assembled audience of Indian dignitaries and princes as the Emperor and Empress of India.
