The consignor notes that Tupac signed this while leaving the Essex House hotel in New York for rehearsals for the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards, held at Radio City Music Hall on September 4, 1996. The show marked Tupac Shakur's last public appearance before being fatally shot on September 7th—making this one of his last autographs.
