Unusual Wilson commission for an "Explosives Inspector"

World War I-dated partly-printed DS as president, one page, 20 x 16, November 24, 1917. President Wilson appoints Edwin M. Gilkeson of Parkersburg, West Virginia as an "Explosives Inspector for the State of West Virginia." Signed at the conclusion by Wilson and countersigned by Secretary of the Interior Franklin K. Lane. Rolled and in very good to fine condition, with light edge creasing, and light toning to the left side.
