Signed on the first free end page in blue ballpoint, "With the affection of Herbert Hoover, and—," followed by 21 others, including Gen. "Mark W. Clark," sons "Herbert Hoover, Jr." and "Allan Hoover," FDR's Press Secretary "Stephen T. Early," publisher "Eugene Pulliam," philanthropist and close Hoover friend "Jeremiah Millbank," restaurateur "George M. Mardikian," son of the play's author "Tom Kelland," journalist "Paul R. Leach," newspapermen "James L. Wright" and "Hank Chandler," and more. Signed and inscribed on the following page by the author, "To Mrs. Marge with love, Clarence Budington Kelland." In fine condition, with light sunning to the spine, and light irregular toning to the signed page.
