Description

Vintage matte-finish 10.5 x 13.5 photo of Republican nominee Dwight Eisenhower holding an elephant statue with Nebraska Governor Val Peterson during the former's 1952 presidential campaign, signed in fountain pen, "Dwight D. Eisenhower" and "Regards, Val Peterson." Framed to a slightly larger size. Collector's notations to frame backing indicate that the photo was signed in Gettysburg in 1963. In very good condition, with some flecks of emulsion loss, creasing and tears to the borders, and paper loss to the lower right corner area.
