TLS as president, one page, 7 x 9, White House letterhead, December 27, 1935. Brief letter to Illinois Senator and Senate Majority Whip J. Hamilton Lewis, in full: "Very many thanks from Mrs. Roosevelt and me for your Christmas greetings. It was so thoughtful of you and Mrs. Lewis to think of us. Our very best wishes to you both for the New Year." In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, and an area of toning touching the letterhead.
