Vintage matte-finish 4 x 6 full-length photo of Al Simmons posing on the dugout steps with a pint-sized bat boy, taken by renowned Chicago-area baseball photographer by George Burke, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "My kindest wishes to Wayne Hurst, Sincerely, Al Simmons, Nov. 21st/45.” Reverse bears a George Burke photography stamp, which is mostly obscured by toned adhesive. In very good to fine condition, with scattered creases and a circular postal impression, and adhesive remnants to reverse. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and Beckett Authentication.
