Diaghilev's conductor proposes a concert featuring works by Debussy, Stravinsky, and Ravel

Swiss conductor (1883-1969) who served as the principal conductor of Sergei Diaghilev's Ballet Russe from 1915 to 1923, and later became noted for his recordings with Decca. ALS in French, signed “E. Ansermet,” one page, 8.25 x 10.25, September 13, 1920. Letter thanking his correspondent for the article in "Musician" about his concert and reporting on his ill health. He notes that he is short on money because Diaghilev has not paid him, and gives the program for a proposed concert at the Queen's Hall in November, naming works by Debussy, Stravinsky, and Ravel. In fine condition.
