South Korean military leader (1917-1979) who seized power in a 1961 coup d'etat; he was assassinated by the director of his own security force. Attractive vintage matte-finish 9.75 x 7.75 half-length portrait of General Park Chung-hee seated at his desk and wearing his military uniform, signed in blue ink in Korean characters. Collector's notation on reverse indicates that the photo was signed in 1961. In fine condition.
