Spectacular vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Grove in his Red Sox uniform by renowned Chicago photographer George Burke, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "With Best Wishes, to Don Heffner, From, Lefty Grove.” Reverse bears a George Burke stamp. In very good to fine condition, with rounded corners, some rippling and silvering to the top, and a JSA label affixed to the lower right corner (certificate of authenticity not present). An absolutely marvelous portrait of the Hall of Fame southpaw.
