Description

Violinist and conductor (1916-1999) widely considered one of the greatest violinists of the 20th century. Exceptional vintage pearl-finish 9.25 x 7 portrait of Menuhin playing his violin by the De Bellis Studio of New York, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Leona Neblett with warmest wishes, Yehudi Menuhin, Nov. 18, 1941.” Affixed to a slightly larger cardstock mount. In fine condition, with trimmed edges, and a bit of adhesive residue to the upper right corner.
