In overall fine condition.

Originates from the personal collection of Bob Payne, a longtime friend of Jim and Jane Henson who performed as part of the Pod people unit and as skekOk the Scroll-Keeper in The Dark Crystal. Classmates with Henson at Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, Maryland, Payne worked with the Hensons on their local Washington show, Sam and Friends, in addition to other early efforts. He also worked with famed puppeteer Bil Baird in the 1960s, and then joined Henson in New York as a puppet builder on projects that include Fraggle Rock, The Muppet Show, Muppet feature films, and The Dark Crystal, assisting in the construction of the Pod people and the slaves.
