McNamee, of Hudson…as an Associate Justice of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in and for the Third Judicial Department…in the place and stead of the Honorable Edward C. Whitmyer, whose term of office as such Associate Justice has expired." Signed boldly at the conclusion by Roosevelt. Gold State of New York seal remains affixed to lower left. In very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges, and a light "x" passing through the body of the document.
