Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, record producer, and arranger (born 1944) best known as the frontman of the band Booker T. & the M.G.'s. ALS signed “Booker,” one page, 8 x 10.5, no date. Letter to "Sharon," naming the members of the M.G.'s, "Sidemen: Al Jackson, Jr., Steve Cropper, Donald (Duck) Dunn," and adding a postscript: "P.S. We didn't have time to go to New York so pictures will have to be rescheduled. However, copies of new album and single will be sent on release date…Pictures soon to follow." In fine condition, with a light block of toning over much of the letter. Accompanied by a publicity photo of Jones and his band.
