Scarce ALS in French, signed “Salvador et Gala,” one page on a 5.5 x 3.5 photo postcard depicting Cadaques, Spain, postmarked June 5, 1936. Untranslated letter to "Monsieur and Madame Jouvenel," signed at the conclusion by Dali on behalf of himself and his wife, and also marked "Dali" in the return address area. In fine condition, with two file holes (one of which affects two words of text) and some brushing to ink. Salvador Dali often visited Cadaques in his childhood, and later kept a home in Port Lligat, a small village on a bay next to the town.
