Two items: an ALS, signed "Jim Irwin, Apoll[o] 15," one page, 8.5 x 11, High Flight Foundation letterhead, July 2, 1979, in part: “My father and mother encouraged my study habits. My vision was expanded by early pilots, explorers and mountain climbers. I read all these adventures with great interest"; and a pair of 'Bishop' and 'Sieger' commemorative covers with color cachets of the Apollo 15 mission insignia, both signed in black ink by Al Worden, with the unnumbered 'Sieger' captioned in the upper left corner, "This envelope was carried to the moon aboard Apollo 15." In overall fine condition.
