Promising American long-distance runner (1951-1975) who was killed in an auto accident at the age of 24. Vintage felt tip signature, "Steve Prefontaine, 5000 M, U.S.A.,” on a white 5.75 x 4 album page. Reverse bears a pencil collector's notation dating the signature to 1969. In fine condition.
