Book condition: VG/None, with dampstaining to the bottom of the title page and frontispiece, light soiling to boards, and wear to spine ends. Esther Muir was a character actress, usually cast as a hard-faced blonde. She co-starred in the Marx Brothers' riotous A Day at the Races, in which she suffered memorably at the hands of Groucho.
