A 10K white gold 2003 USC Trojans National Championship ladies' ring made by Jostens, approximately size 7.5 and 19.1 gm, featuring a red football-shaped stone encircled by cubic zirconias, with raised text on the bezel, "National Champions." One side features a Rose Bowl emblem and "MCP," and the other side features the Southern California logo with "2003 Pac-10 Champs." Stamped "Jostens 10K" inside the band. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. The 2003 USC Trojans, led by coach Pete Carroll and quarterback Matt Leinart, were named as the Associated Press and Football Writers Association of America national champions, but were controversially denied a spot in the BCS National Championship Game. This led, in part, to the implementation of the playoff system used today. An interesting piece of college football history.
