TLS signed “Geo. Eastman,” one page, 8.5 x 7.25, Eastman Kodak Company letterhead, January 23, 1914. Letter to E. R. L. Gould, in full: "I have made some inquiry as to the possibility of renting the fifth and sixth stories of a tenement building and am informed and believe that it would be impossible in this town without a very great reduction of the rental. A very prominent real estate man informed me this morning that even the fourth story was objectionable. The conditions here are very different from what they are in New York because there are plenty of three and four story buildings, with stores underneath and tenements overhead." In very good to fine condition, with intersecting folds and scattered light wrinkling.
