ALS, one page, 8.5 x 10.75, June 29, 1925. Letter to S. D. Green, in full: "A letter of yours to me—the letter dated Jan. 29—lies before me. It was not overlooked.—I have been ill & am only now beginning to be a bit myself as I have no Secretary but do everything myself nearly all my mail was side-tracked. You will understand. So if I may, perhaps next year I may write the letter you asked for this year. Just at present I feel particularly stupid—Empty." In very good to fine condition, with paper loss to the upper left corner, and a diagonal crease across the lower portion of the letter.
