Description

Partly-printed DS as president, signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 22 x 18, December 21, 1889. President Harrison appoints Robert W. Turner as “Consul of the United States of America at Cadis.” Boldly signed at the conclusion in black ink by Harrison, and countersigned by Secretary of State James Blaine. White wafer seal remains affixed to lower left corner. Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 27 x 22.75. In fine condition, with moderate intersecting folds.
