M.,” one page, 5.5 x 4.25, personal archbishop of Milan stationery, November 9, 1954. Handsomely mounted, suede-matted, and framed with a photo to an overall size of 30 x 18.5. In fine condition. Montini had been appointed as archbishop of Milan by Pope Pius XII just a week earlier on November 1, 1954.
