Partly-printed DS, signed “C. W. Nimitz,” one page, 7.25 x 8.75, October 8, 1947. A United States Navy citation awarded to Pullman Company "for service rendered to the United States Naval Reserve, 1947," with an affixed blue "USNR" flag. Signed at the conclusion in black ink by Nimitz as Chief of Naval Operations, and James Forrestal as Secretary of the Navy. Matted and framed with a copy of a letter forwarding the citation to C. R. Harding, president of the Pullman Company, to an overall size of 16.75 x 13 . In fine condition.
