Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 12.75 x 9.25, August 9, 1824. President Monroe grants William Bulger "late a private in Hook's Company of the 38th Regiment of Infantry, and to his heirs a certain Tract of Land containing one hundred and sixty acres…in the Territory of Arkansas." Signed at the conclusion by Monroe and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains fully intact. In very good to fine condition, with a crease to the left side and toning along the bottom.
