Short letter to "Mr. Lawless at Messrs. Cadell & Davis, Booksellers" in London, written in Cornwallis's difficult to decipher hand, signed at the conclusion and also franked on the reverse, "Free, Cornwallis." Inlaid into a slightly larger sheet. In fine condition. Accompanied by an engraved portrait and mat for display.
