French harpsichordist (1879-1959) whose performances, teaching, recordings, and writings played a large role in reviving the popularity of the harpsichord in the early 20th century. Two items: a vintage glossy 4.5 x 6.26 publicity photo of Landowska as a child, signed in Polish in bold purple fountain pen, "Wanda, New York, 1946"; and an untranslated ALS in French signed "WL," both sides of a 5.5 x 3.5 postcard, dated May 17, 1934. In overall fine condition.
