Description

Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Pennsylvania (1742-1798), and one of only six men who signed both the Declaration and the US Constitution. Ink endorsement signature, "Wilson," on the reverse of a partly-printed legal document, one page, 13.5 x 4.25, October 27, 1776. The document concerns a debt payment between Andrew Schnebily, George and Margaret Shaver, and Andrew Kinkead. Several clerical notations dated January 1776 appear above Wilson's signature. In fine condition, with some light toning and foxing.
