Argentine lieutenant general and politician (1895-1974) who was thrice elected President of Argentina. Vintage matte-finish 8.25 x 10.75 portrait of Peron in a distinguished three-quarter-length pose, affixed to its original 12.5 x 16.5 mount, inscribed on the mount in another hand, "Al Senor Frank M. Flack, con gran afecto, Buenos Aires, Julio 3 de 1951," and signed in fountain pen by Peron. Photo is blindstamped in the lower right corner, "Subscretaria de Informacion, Archivo Grafico de la Nacion." In very good to fine condition, with a crease to the left side of the border and image, and light silvering to the darker areas of the portrait.
