Description

Ferdinand Foch

French military officer (1851?1929) who served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Armies in the final months of World War I. Matte-finish 4.5 x 7 portrait of Foch in uniform, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "A Lady Williams Taylor, mes respectueux hommages, F. Foch.? In very good to fine condition, with a crease to the left edge, three small holes to the upper left, and a rusty paperclip impression to the upper right.
