Handwritten page from Hovhaness's manuscript for Symphony No. 42, 11 x 13.5, signed and inscribed in pencil, "To Harrie W. Johnston fro Alan Hovhaness, Sketch page from Symphony No. 42, Sorry viola part is not interesting on this page, May 8, 1982." In fine condition, with some light staining along the central horizontal fold.
