Confederate general (1821–1904) who distinguished himself at Bull Run, Fredericksburg, and Chickamauga, and is remembered as one of the Civil War's greatest tacticians. Uncommon bank check, 6 x 3, filled out and signed by Longstreet, "James Longstreet," payable to cash for $35, August 22, 1902. In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. A boldly signed example of this scarce format.
