Rare oversized matte-finish 12.5 x 15 pre-presidential portrait of McKinley in near profile, affixed to an 18 x 22 mount, signed in the lower portion of the image in black ink. In fine condition, with indistinct signature contrast against McKinley's dark suit and light bands of toning across the image. Accompanied by the ornate period frame which it was removed from. Given the great expense of producing such large photographs during the late 19th century, portraits of this size are extremely scarce. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
