Handsomely engraved certificate for eight shares of capital stock in the American Express Company issued to Henry A. Swift of New York. Signed at the conclusion by Wells as president and Fargo as secretary. In very good to fine condition, with mild toning, a missing lower right corner tip, and cancellation stamps to signatures.
