Description

“Very nasty letters” prove to Truman that he is “still on the right track”

TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, March 13, 1959. Letter to Phil Kerby, the editor of the Frontier, in full: “My talk at Columbia, Missouri, to which you referred in your letter of the 9th, was made off-the-cuff, and no copy or transcript that I know of is in existence. Some of the editors and publishers who were hit by it have written me very nasty letters, which proves, to me at least, that I am still on the right track.” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
