TLS as president, one page, 7 x 9, White House letterhead, June 11, 1930. Letter to Lewis Richards, director of the London office of Hoover’s post-World War I food administration, and later head of the music department at Michigan State University, in full: “I have your sad telegram today. Both Mrs. Hoover and I wish you to know that you have our deepest sympathy.” In fine condition, with a few light spots of foxing. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
