Actor (1892–1962) who portrayed Scarlett O’Hara’s father in Gone with the Wind and Uncle Billy in It’s a Wonderful Life. Vintage glossy 7.75 x 9.75 publicity portrait of Mitchell, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “With all good wishes, Thomas Mitchell.” Reverse bears a Visam Magazine and Book Shop stamp. In very good to fine condition, with scattered creasing and lines of crazing. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
