Original vintage pencil sketch on an off-white 8.5 x 11 sheet of Chuck Jones stationery, showing Bugs Bunny holding a carrot with his ears pointing in opposite directions and making the letter ‘Z,’ with Jones adding “AGREB,” completing the nameplace for the Zagreb Animation Festival. Signed and inscribed in pencil, “To Charles—Thank you for helping so much to make the festival possible, Bugs Bunny & Chuck Jones, 1972.” In fine condition. Initiated by the International Animated Film Association, the Animafest Zagreb was established in 1972, and is the second oldest animation festival in the world. Jones was given the festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 1988. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
