Personal check, 6 x 2.75, filled out in another hand and made payable to Lyndon B. Johnson for $5, August 3, 1972, endorsed on the reverse in black felt tip, “Lyndon B. Johnson, pay to order of LBJ Library.” In fine condition, with expected bank cancellations. Accompanied by a letter from the library’s office acknowledging the donation and its original mailing envelope. Johnson is very scarce in checks of any sort, with this being just the third we have offered. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
