Two TLSs, each one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, dated 1968–1969. Both are to Theodore Lesley, historian of Hillsborough County, Florida. The first, in part: “I was very sorry to learn of the passing of your mother and you have my sincere sympathy. I well know the sadness that comes to one who suffers that loss.” The second, in part: “Thank you for…the book ‘To God Through Science’ by Father Patrick Yancey…the book will be given to the Truman Library to be made available for students who come here for reference and research.” In overall fine condition, with a couple of small light stains. Accompanied by the original mailing envelopes, both bearing pre-printed free franks. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
