Let the federalists oppose it if they dare. I should thank them for their custom if they did; but some of them will not. Let it therefore be pushed wholly by our friends, and let the rest do as they please, or as they dare. It is a growing question every where, and all that we have got to do is to stick to it. The Thirty queries which I sent to my constituents are receiving full attention, and I am already receiving omnipotent answers.” Benton signs his name again on the free frank addressed on the reverse of the second integral page.
