Thomas Mifflin

Signer of the US Constitution from Pennsylvania (1744–1800) and first governor of that state. Manuscript vellum DS, signed “Tho Mifflin,” one page, 15.5 x 12.5, August 3, 1792. As governor of Pennsylvania, Mifflin grants Robert Morris “a certain Tract of Land called ‘Resignation’…containing Three hundred and fifty nine Acres.” Signed in the upper left below the eight-point seal by Mifflin. In very good to fine condition, with a few small areas of staining. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
