Also includes a TLS signed “Linus Pauling,” one page, California Institute of Technology letterhead, September 26, 1951, in full: “I had hoped to see you by this time, in order to tell you that I think that the news releases that you issued are first rate. They seem to have been very effective. Several people, including the chief of the ACS news bureau, spoke to me about them saying, that they were excellent.” Pauling corrects the date in his own hand.
