Woolf directs a potential Monologue writer to the care of Elizabeth Bowen

ALS signed “V. W.,” one page on a 3.5 x 5.5 postcard, no date but postmarked June 19, 1934. Letter to her friend Lyn Irvine, writer and editor of the literary journal The Monologue which she founded in 1934, in full: “Elizabeth Bowen, Waldencote, Old Headington, Oxford. Says she would like very much to write for Monologue. Would you send her a copy & with the above address & say how long, etc. Her name is Mrs. Cameron.” Woolf adds a brief postscript, “Also she’d like to subscribe.” Addressed on the reverse in Woolf’s own hand. In fine condition, with a small stain, and a few postal cancelations. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
