Unsigned handwritten notes in pencil on two off-white slips affixed to a 9 x 6 card, no date, including: “Assemblyman Joseph Higgins,” “World War Memorial,” and “Assemblyman Wm. Breitenbach.” A note affixed to the reverse states that the scraps were recovered from the waste paper bin in the cellar of the New York capitol building when the former governor’s papers were being moved from there to the library at Hyde Park. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
