Country-blues singer and guitar player (1904–1972). Flyer for a 1969 tour of the United Kingdom, 12.25 x 11.5, signed along the top in black ballpoint, “Fred McDowell.” In very good to fine condition, with toned adhesive and chipping to edges. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original recipient, in part: “This autograph of Fred McDowell was collected on Sunday March 2, 1969, at his National Blues Federation concert.” Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
