Montgomery of Alamein reflects on General Eisenhower, in part: “Whenever I go to Washington I visit the Lincoln Memorial, where Abraham Lincoln sits in an impossible setting looking out over the city. I never visit the Memorial without gaining inspiration; it is the same when I visit Ike. He has tried to be the President of all Americans, irrespective of party of politics.” In fine condition.
