Benjamin Logan

Kentucky pioneer, soldier, and politician (1742–1802) who was second-in-command of all the state’s militia during the American Revolutionary War. ALS, one page, 8.25 x 5.5, June 19, 1787. Letter to the Worshipfull Court of Lincoln County, in part: “You will please to Recommend Capt. in Room of Capt. Doaherty Barnett.” In very good condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
